Downtown Retail Redefined
Speakers:
Ron Bondy, Senior Vice President of Leasing, Westfield Group
Ed Hogan, National Director of Leasing, Brookfield Properties
Jessica Lappin, President, The Alliance for Downtown New York
Please join WX for a presentation by a panel of prominent real estate executives all of whom
have a stake hold in the further development of the Financial District. Their experience and
commitment to the retail market in the Financial District is evidenced by their respective roles in
leasing the retail components of World Trade Center and Brookfield Place, with the added input
from the President of the Downtown Alliance.
There is an expectation that there will soon be over 65,000 residents living in the area
and there continues to be strong tourism numbers. The addition of approximately 1,000,000
square feet of retail development in the Financial District is expected to support this new
and dynamic demographic.
The diversity of retail, the excellent transportation and infrastructure make Downtown a retail
hub independent of other trading areas in NYC.
Learn from the three unique real estate professionals as they share their perspectives
on the redevelopment of the retail scene in one of New York City’s oldest and fastest
changing neighborhoods.
